She has performed in concerts across the world and has been featured in albums, singles, concert webcasts, music videos, Bollywood films, and advertisements. She is a Trained Hindustani Classical Singer. She just Loved to Sing Folk Songs. Ram Sampath is her Husband i.e. one of the all-time favorite Music Composer in Indian Music Industry. 

Sona & Ram Sampath has also sung many songs for Amir Khan. Sona has sung songs for Amir's reality TV Show "Satyamev Jayate" & Ram Sampath compose all the Songs of Reality Show Satyamev Jayate.
